Summer Youth Program

The Chicago Aikido Club was selected to develop and run an Aikido program at the Big City Day Camp that the Jewish Council For Youth Services hosts at the Center On Halsted.

Classes will be taught by members of the Chicago Aikido Club and will be emphasizing ukemi/tumbling, centering and general body awareness. Campers from kindergarten to early teens will be participating once to twice a week for the duration of the camp. Thanks to Bill Cruz and Jim Moy of Aikido of Greater Milwaukee for their assistance in structuring the classes.

Classes we be held once a week on Thursdays 10:00am-12:00pm from June 25-August 17.
